Kalinga is a landlocked province in the northernmost section of the Cordillera Region. It is bounded by the provinces of Cagayan and Apayao in the north, Mt. Province in the south, and Abra in the West. The greater sections of Cagayan and Isabela are found on its eastern part.

The Torogan
The Torogan

 

See the newly-built Torogan. This is the typical house of our Muslim brothers from Mindanao. See the details, art work and architecture of the Torogan and how it is adapted to the local culture and environment.

The Torogan House is the ancestral home of the Sultan or Datu, the village chief in Maranao, Southern Philippines. The Torogan house has a butterfly-like end beams that protrude in front of the house. It is intricately adorned with a range of folk motifs, usually a plant, geometric form, dragon or serpent that are prominent in Maranao artwork. The building is constructed on post resting on rocks which act as a rollers to prevent earthquake damage.

  • Cottage 1 - Kagandahang Loob ( Php 2,000) 

Single room, with aircon, can accomodate 4, with toilet and Bathroom, *Additional 100 pesos for extra mattress 

  • Cottage 2 - Kagalangan Php (2,000)

Single room, without aircon, can accomodate 4, with toilet and Bathroom, *Additional 100 pesos for extra mattress 

  • Cottage 3 - Malasakit( Php 2,000)  

Single room, with aircon, can accomodate 4, with toilet and Bathroom, *Additional 100 pesos for extra mattress 

  • Cottage 4 - Pagbibigayan (Php3,000) 

Single unit with second floor (A and B). No aircon, with toilet and bathroom. Can accomodate 10 persons.

  • Cottage 5 - Pakikipagkapwa  ( Php 2,000)

  • Cottage 6 - Kagitingan (Php3,000)

PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • *Cooking and eating are prohibited inside the cottages
  • *Additional Person to the maximum allowable per cottage will be charge P300.00 per head.
  • *We are providing tables for eating under the trees just outside your rented cottage
  • *At the "Labuad Kapampangan" where the cottages are located, is a restaurant called "Salangi." It is open from 8am to 6 pm. You can arrange food preparation with them for earlier or later  meals.
